The 2024 Light-nanoMatter Interaction Summer School (LnMI 2024) was conceived by young researchers for young researchers. It is our mission to equip the next generation of scientists with a comprehensive understanding of the state-of-the-art and developments in nanophotonics, nanomaterials, and light-matter interactions. The aim of the school is to advance individual knowledge but also, and foremost, to foster the interaction between the attendees and the speakers in an informal environment. The lectures will be given by rising stars in the field as well as by established researchers coming from all over the world (Australia, USA, China, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and more). All these lectures are crafted by the speakers to be didactive in nature, whilst touching upon the latest cutting-edge discoveries. The LnMI 2024 school will be celebrated from June 30th to July 4th 2024 at La Cristalera (Miraflores, Madrid). This setting, along with a sparse scientific schedule, offers the ideal relaxed environment to promote one-on-one interactions, deepen scientific discussions, and get to know researchers at various stages of their careers. Poster sessions will also provide the stage for the attendees to showcase their research and get invaluable feedback on their work. The cover letter should also include the title of the abstract you intend to submit for the poster. The subject of the email should read “Application for LnMI2024 grant”. You will be informed of the outcome by April 19th. In case of being selected by the committee, we will take care of registering you through the system!
