Your voice matters. Join the 2nd Cross-School Sustainability Dialogue.... Thursday 7 Dec 2023, 12:30 - 14:30 English speaking event Room : ground floor Q building (wheelchair accessible) Erasmus University (EUR) is committed to making a positive societal impact. Following the declaration of the Climate and Ecological emergency last February, EUR aims to achieve a net positive impact on climate and ecosystems by 2030. The pivotal question now is, how can we turn this commitment into a reality, and what does it mean for the entire EUR community? This is where your voice becomes crucial. We invite all EUR students and colleagues to actively participate in our second Cross-School Sustainability Dialogue on December 7th. Your ideas on advancing sustainability at EUR are valued. Colleagues from Professional Services and General Administrative (PS/ABD) are especially invited as we will discuss the strategy and operations for our university. What happens after the dialogue? The organizers, in collaboration with the Strategy Office, Erasmus Sustainability Hub, and ABD/PS representatives, will compile the dialogue outcomes. The results will be shared digitally for additional input from the EUR community. Insights from the dialogue will directly inform the Sustainability Strategy 2.0, coordinated by the Strategy Office. Action points resulting from the dialogue will also be discussed with Professional Services & General Administrations management, with the aim to integrate action points in their operations. During breakout sessions, we will explore how EUR can significantly reduce its environmental footprint and work towards a positive impact on climate and ecosystems, in different aspects of our operations.
