In this role you will be part of the Insurance Regulatory Strategies team in AllianzGI which covers Insurance portfolios for Allianz Group and Insurance third-parties mandates within the Fixed Income department in the Global Investment Platform. The position is based in Paris. You will support Portfolio Managers in their daily operational tasks, improve and enhance existing tools in different environments such as PowerBI, Bloomberg, VBA and Python. We are looking for a motivated student for a one-year working student contract. The ideal candidate will be someone with a Masters in Mathematics, Computer Science and/or Applied Mathematics for Finance. Key Responsibilities: Check the quality of data in Portfolio Manager’s management tools (Bloomberg, Thinkfolio, Barra One), databases and internally developed tools Provide support and ongoing analyses, reports and presentations for our different clients/portfolios Contribute to the management reporting to create increased information sharing and support of investment portfolios Interact with the ESG team on various carbon trajectory and engagement topics Key Requirements/Skills/Experience: Final year degree student from a Tier 1 scientifically background (Engineering School, MSc in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics to Finance) Good knowledge of programming (e.g. SQL, Python and VBA) and of Microsoft office app with practical experience of coding Good notions in Stochastic Mathematics on the Fixed Income markets Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and French About Allianz Global Investors Allianz Global Investors is a leading active asset manager with over 600 investment professionals in over 20 offices worldwide and managing EUR 521 billion in assets.
