THE JOB Here’s what the job entails In the role, your primary function will be to support our energy asset business, primarily in the German market. Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include the following: become familiarised with the German energy market participate in external meetings to provide solutions that will enable our customers (such as owners of wind turbines or photovoltaic parks) to grow their businesses support your colleagues on their tasks, mainly in the German energy market collaborate closely with middle and back office teams in DC as well as our parent company, Equinor assist with the planning and execution of commercial events and trade fairs to become more visible to potential new customers For the right candidate, this student position can evolve into a full-time position after completion of your studies. THE TEAM Meet the team You will join our European Origination team which is responsible for all DC’s customer-related activities in Europe. Our customers are owners of flexible and renewables assets (such as wind turbines or photovoltaic parks), and the team’s overall goal is to be the best to provide solutions that will enable our customers to grow their businesses. We do so by providing full market access for them and their assets. In the team, we have a deep understanding of the energy market and our customers’ needs and how DC’s capabilities, combined with market conditions, can provide our customers with the best possible market access. We have an informal tone, and we believe that working as a team is the key to success. We are a diverse team with various nationalities and backgrounds, and our team members are seated across various European office locations. As you will be working primarily with our German customers, we imagine that you are service-minded and fluent in German. Also, we are looking for someone who is a proactive collaborator and is motivated by the success of the team. Concretely, we imagine that you: are currently enrolled in a relevant education within Economics, Finance, Business or similar have an interest in the energy markets are fluent in German – both written and verbal are proficient in English – both written and verbal can work approx. 15-20 hours per week Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
