Business Consultant, SAP Technology Consultant As SAP Technology Consultant, you employ SAP technical skills and related functional knowledge. You participate in SAP integration developments & support activities Your activity domain involves: Project delivery and Support: As member of the SAP integration team you will work with SAP Process Integration (PI / PO), Cloud Integration Suite, SAP Abap / Java development and the broader context of SAP integration. You will collaborate actively with your SAP Integration colleagues, Functional Consultants and Business IT representatives. You will translate business requirements into SAP technical solutions and subsequently implement them, mastering both the standard and the custom built applications. Your activities will include problem solving, implementation of change requests and participating in projects. S/4 HANA projects: Several SAP systems at Umicore will be upgraded to S/4 HANA. This will ensure that Umicore receives the required support from SAP. It also allows for new functionalities and possibilities to enable IS to provide more flexibility and support towards business. The upgrade of SAP systems to S/4 HANA versions will require interface adjustments on SAP systems that are migrated/upgraded to S/4 HANA. As a member of the SAP integration team you will assist in the required interface adjustments during these S/4 HANA upgrades. Journey to cloud migration : A strategic decision has been made to consider cloud solutions first. This includes the hosting of existing systems and replacement of old systems with new cloud solutions. As member of the SAP Integration team you will assist in the adjustments required when systems are migrated to the cloud and assist with the set-up of new connections and interfaces required when activating new cloud services SAP Integration Roadmap: The SAP Integration team has embarked on a journey to replace the current SAP integration landscape and solutions. Current business and IT requirements have been reviewed and analysed to understand the future integration requirements. The resulting SAP integration roadmap spans multiple years and is the foundation for the future hybrid SAP integration landscape. As a member of the SAP Integration team you will contribute and assist with all activities related to the design, build and migration to our new SAP Integration landscape. You will be based in Hoboken, with very sporadic travel to other Umicore sites in Belgium and Germany. FUNCTION You participate in the technical development activities in a project or support environment You provide second and third level technical support services to key customers You ensure proper process integration between different applications and processes. PROFILE You hold a master in information technology, applied computer sciences or a related field You have technical SAP knowledge ( Integration / Abap / Java development) You have knowledge of SAP PI/PO and CPI (Cloud Integration Platform) You have gained experience in technical analysis, design and configuration You are able to establish credibility with functional SAP consultants You have a mature, assertive and dynamic personality, with excellent interpersonal skills You have a positive can-do attitude towards challenges You are a team player with strong communication skills and with a collaborative spirit You are customer oriented, result driven & focused on delivering quality You are fluent in English and Dutch
