The Job

Generali Real Estate manages its operations across the different European markets through five operating platforms: four regions Southern Europe, Western Europe, Central and northern Europe, Central Eastern Europe & Nordics and Citylife. Within the new Debt Funds function in GRE SGR, the resource will support the team in the: Managing and monitoring the existing portfolio (market, asset and debt analysis, support in decision-making to senior management); Managing new cross-border funds (investing in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Western Europe). Support the Debt Investment Team for strategy drafting and implementation for each managed investment vehicle: Contribute to structuring activities for new vehicles; Due diligence and analysis of underlying investments (real estate debts). The role will allow a 360 exposure to the real estate asset class, including, among primary activities: Investment analysis and execution Work with the Senior Management to support transaction decisions and implementation; Be actively involved in due diligence task (real estate, economic, legal and fiscal); Assist in portfolio performance analyses relative to investment objectives; Support and drive analysis of potential opportunities in new markets and sectors. Portfolio Analysis Support decision-making process for Boards and Advisory Committee decisions; Support evaluation of fund performance data across multiple variables to create analysis of assets and fund level performance; Track and analyze asset and fund information and investor performance for company investment funds, including internal rate of return, time-weighted returns and other performance metrics; Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual client reports, including fund and portfolio updates, individual asset summaries and market research across major property types; Assist in the preparation of marketing-related materials for current investors and prospective new investors; Assist with materials for ongoing investor correspondence and performance analysis, including client calls, investor questionnaires and data requests such as realized returns, projected cash flows, and historical performance. Must have: Candidates must have a graduate business degree. The successful candidate should have 1-3 of experience in real estate asset management, real estate lending, private equity or business consulting. Academic Degree: Economics/ Finance/ Quantitative field Good knowledge and understanding of real estate investment/debt market at an international level. Experience in portfolio management, asset management, real estate lending, capital markets, or acquisitions will be a plus High level of competence required in financial modeling. Proficiency in computer applications skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Should be a curious, creative, analytic and a numbers oriented thinker. Ability to work seamlessly on multiple projects and tasks. Team oriented and willingness to perform tasks outside his or her primary job description. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated and energetic. Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
