To meet our challenges, we are looking for our next Life Cycle Assessment Engineer (M/F) within the sustainability team ! This position will be located in Lille (La Madeleine). Our teams and goals: Their mission? The role of this position is to: Design, conduct and develop LCIs & LCAs to support Group Sustainability initiatives Manage a broad range of product and material issues ensuring data consistency in products LCI (Life Cycle Inventories) Collaborate closely with Operations, Controlling, Procurement, R&D, Sustainability, Marketing and external partners Be the key user of the LCA tool and library manager Your experience and talents will make the difference to: Provide LCIs and LCAs, and reports required for Sustainable Development activities (Sustainable Portfolio management, audits, customer requirements…), Collect & Manage datas from HSE & Controlling: for production, product recipes, raw material usage, waste, water, energy, and packaging information for each industrial plant, Be the reference on the methodology used, Manage in collaboration with support functions the specifications definition for an automatized LCI tool development, support the development of the tool, be the future referent for the tool usage, Will particularly collaborate with Sustainable Manufacturing department that will require frequent travels to our Technical Center in Lestrem, Ensure the auditability of the LCI and LCA, Organize and facilitate learning sessions on LCA stakes for sales, marketing & other internal stakeholders. Your analytical frame of mind and your influencing skills help you to accomplish your missions. Must have competences: Academic & proven experience (Internship & first experience) in LCA modeling Familiarity with LCA tools (e.g. Simapro) & LCA standards & guidelines (eg ISO14040-44) Leadership: able to animate and manage internal working groups relative to LCA Experience in working on multiple projects at a time and prioritizing in order to meet deadlines Attention to detail and quality Team player, curious and creative Self organized and problem solving skills And also... Master degree in Sustainable Development and environment field Over 1-year related experience in food or chemical industry or in Sustainable Development Good knowledge on IT tools: pack office, SAP Fluent in English and in French What will you love about us?
