About the Job Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic IC Layout Engineer Internto join our design team in Oulu, Finland. In this role you and your team will work on layout design of Mixed Signal Integrated Circuits (ICs). In your work you will have the opportunity to work as part of international mixed signal team developing next generation Power Management ICs for automotive and industrial applications. Job duties of an IC Layout Engineer Intern will include: Layout design of Power Management IC blocks e.g. DC-DC converters Block level layout, top level integration, floorplanning and area estimation Physical verification and post-layout analysis (DRC, LVS, Parasitic extraction, EM, ESD) Your additional responsibilities will also include, but will not be limited to: Collaborating with Analog and Digital design teams and global layout design community Participating in layout design reviews Design flow automation/verification function development Desired qualifications: Qualified candidates are in their final years of their ongoing studies (master or bachelor) within Electrical Engineering or equivalent Additional qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • Good understanding of analog electronics theory.
