As a Junior Proposal Specialist UXO you develop proposals and cost estimations for our Marine Site Characterisation (MSC) Business Line, specifically for the UXO risk mitigation service. In this role you support the commercial team in Nootdorp and the regional MSC commercial group. You will be writing bids yourself and contributing to client meetings, contract negotiations and bid strategy.

Your role

You assist with proposals, cost estimations and tender submissions mainly related to UXO identification and clearance (ID/C) activities, in accordance with relevant processes and procedures, and you ensure proposals are produced on time and to the highest quality; You liaise with the internal commercial and business development staff to assist in preparation of winning proposals and ensure that these are aligned with wider Fugro strategy and with the proposal requirements; You assist your colleagues in client meetings for proposal clarification and contract negotiations; You provide hand-over briefings and onward commercial guidance to the project management team; You maintain the CRM systems and keep KPI monitoring tools up to date.

Your track record

You have as a minimum a BSc. degree in a Business/Science related discipline and/or previous work experience in a similar role; You have knowledge of the Marine/offshore industries or have a technical background ; You anticipate problems, ensure early intervention and you are able to deal with deadlines and at times high workloads; You are in the possession of excellent influencing and team communciation skills, strive for positive outcomes and have a good command of English and Dutch (verbal and written).
