IT JUNIOR DESKTOP SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR - VIE - Fremont, CA USA F/M Fremont, CA - USA IT JUNIOR DESKTOP SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR - VIE F/M OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Desktop Support Administrator at Ivalua. You will be providing desktop support to our end users mainly based out of Fremont, CA, but also across the Amer region. ABOUT THE TEAM: You will be part of the Global IT Team that provides support in the Amer region, onboarding, offboarding and contributing to various technical projects for Ivalua IT. Our team works hard, plays hard and enjoys all indoor and outdoor activities that the company organizes from time to time, so that you can focus, work collaboratively, and be at your creative best. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, configure, test, troubleshooting, maintain and update workstation and server hardware as well as software, phones and printers Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, servers, software, network and other potential IT build & deployment issues Provide technical support on-site or via phone or email Receive requests from help desk and provide first level support, escalate problems and issues to various IT groups Configure computer networks and VPN Analyze network, system and application logs and identifies potential issues with Ivalua Solution Create proper documentation, diagrams and other detailed instructions QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and/or resolve hardware, software or network issues Ability to interact with users to support and solve hardware and software issues Computer and network security awareness Excellent knowledge of latest Windows operating systems Basic understanding of networking and familiarity with TCP/IP and DHCP Ability to install and configure hard drives, optical drives, network cards, video cards and network/local printers Requires an in-depth knowledge of end user computing systems and hardware, client functions and applications, excellent consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, decisiveness, strong judgment, and the ability to work effectively with client and other IT management and staff Must be flexible regarding duties and hours to cover specific shift need SOFT SKILLS: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills Communicate clearly and concisely with others, orally and in writing Detail-oriented and organized, able to pay attention to procedures and create proper documentation Self-motivated WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU An innovative and stimulating work environment Great training and career development You will work with a diverse and global team made up of exceptionally passionate, talented and motivated colleagues who are established leaders in their field Regular social events, team sports or musical activities (under normal conditions) We pride ourselves in customer experience, Agility, Pragmatism, Positive attitude and enthusiasm, Team play, Continuous learning and Improvement and accountability.
