JOIN OUR RISK & INSURANCE MANAGEMENT TEAM : You will be part of the Risk Finance & Transfer Department. The team consist of 6 persons and is spread between USA and Herzogenaurach and is responsible for analyzing and managing global exposures and implement adequate risk finance and transfer programs to protect adidas’ profits and assets. The team has extensive interactions with various internal and external stakeholders for operational, financial and strategic decisions related to all insurance and reinsurance solutions for adidas’ global insurance programs. YOUR TASKS: Supporting day-to-day activities of the Insured Employee Benefits captive program and connect internally with HR Rewards teams as well as insurance providers Get 101 level of knowledge about captive, risk financing and reinsurance mechanisms based on hands-on work experience and ad-hoc trainings Participate to the preparation of the several insurance lines renewal programs (target date Jan, 1) and liaise with insurers and brokers Work independently on a Medical Inflation analysis project with market studies and actual adidas numbers Work on premium allocation, invoicing and completion of renewal documentation Participate to the governance improvement goal of the team with document review (under one of the team members’ supervision) YOUR PROFILE: Master / Bachelor Student with an interest in working on Risk & Insurance Management Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations) Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate) Fluent English language skills (written & spoken), German is a benefit Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) KEY FACTS: Application Deadline: March 15th, 2023 Start Date: September 15th, 2023 Duration: 6months Location: adidas Headquarters in Herzogenaurach (near Nuremberg) YOUR APPLICATION: At adidas we believe that “Impossible is Nothing”.
