Toyota Motor Europe R&D Material Engineering (Anti-Corrosion) is responsible for: Developing vehicles and making concept proposals for European core models Reflecting EU technologies to Toyota vehicles timely by utilizing a location advantage and a strong network with European partners Ensuring that Customer Expectation towards Anti-Corrosion performance are achieved Your Projects 1 – Development of machine learning system to monitor corrosion severity in real-time Introduction of new vehicle signals to corrosion severity model Integration and aggregation of environmental and road conditions into corrosion severity model Studying the relative contribution of vehicle signals, or their derivatives, to corrosion severity 2 – Creation of “Corrosion Severity map” and key performance indicators based on vehicle usage Your Profile Technical science student with affinity for “Machine Learning-” and “Big Data- “driven engineering. Developed programming skills (Python, SQL,) Understanding of metallurgy, corrosion, and vehicle production techniques Microsoft apps: office applications (Word, Powerpoint,Excel, Sharepoint, PowerBI) Fluent in English(verbal/written), additional European language skills are an asset Interest in the automotive industryand a passion for cars Detail orientated Holder of a Driving Licence We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
