Based on consumer and athlete insights we plan and execute market relevant footwear and apparel product ranges in close cooperation with the cross-functional team. BUSINESS UNIT RUNNING & CREDIBILITY SPORTS FOOTWEAR If you want to work in a fast paced, high profile and truly exciting business then join the running team. BUSINESS UNIT ORIGINALSFOOTWEAR Your main role is to analyze the market dynamics, trends, consumer insights and to translate these findings into building our product ranges. We are managing the whole process from briefing to development and further to working with our key markets/accounts and implementing their feedback. We work very closely with multiple x-functional teams to deliver desirable products for consumers. As a part of the whole product creation process you will be able to get varied insights into not only different department needs, but the whole fashion and lifestyle industry. BUSINESS UNIT SPORTSWEAR APPAREL The Women’s Sportswear Apparel team is a diverse group of energetic individuals. We work in close collaboration to create the perfect Sportswear Styles across all price points. We consider our product journey from creation process to end consumer. Our ingredients to success are consumer obsession, product excellence, and one brand perspective. Throughout product creation we work x-category, x-gender, and x-function. Navigating fast-paced environment takes an individual who is flexible, can provide quick turnaround, listens well and is not afraid to ask questions, and has "passion for lifestyle apparel products. BUSINESS UNIT GRAPHICS APPAREL SPORTSWEAR & PERFORMANCE The Graphics Product Management team is an integral hub between both Sportswear and all Performance categories. We help elevate these key categories and their inline products through compelling graphics capsules across tees, tanks, and various layering silhouettes. Our creation timelines are fast-paced and require a collaborative, empathetic, and detail-oriented mindset – as a part of this team, you will be able to experience and help build graphics product connected to multiple categories across the entire brand. BUSINESS UNIT FOOTBALL FOOTWEAR Working in a dynamic multi-national environment driven by a passion for football the Football Footwear and Hardware team strive for constant innovative product newness, exciting and engaging the consumer into the world of the most thrilling sports. Through teamplay, we create a product offer with which the football athlete can perform at the highest level. YOUR TASKS: Assist the (Senior) Product Manager in preparing the range direction, in the second step start to manage range direction with the support of the superior Understand and execute the product creation process according to calendar timelines Work within cross-functional team to enable a smooth product creation process with an optimum product outcome Analyze range performance Build knowledge to be able to maintain product information systems according to process time-lines Experience market, consumer and retailer needs to be able to create industry leading products Help to prepare range presentations; in the second step present own ranges with guidelines of the superior with regards to structure and content Support the creation team to implement given Merchandising direction for relevant ranges in partnership with Merchandising counterparts Execute given projects within a discussed frame YOUR PROFILE: Student of Business Administration, International Business or similar with a focus on Marketing /Textile/Fashion/Sports Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations) Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate) Fluent in English (written & spoken) Strong MS Office skills Passion for Sport & Lifestyle Strong interest in the respective Business Unit KEY FACTS: Application Deadline: March 15th, 2023 Start Dates: September 15th, 2023 Duration: 6months Location: adidas Headquarters in Herzogenaurach (near Nuremberg) Make your move to the World of Sports.
