JOIN OUR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FOOTWEAR OUTDOOR TEAM: The Terrex footwear development team is set up to challenge the outdoor industry to be better in sustainability as well as to push performance. The team is a highly experienced group that has deep experience in shoe making as well as landing innovation. We as a team have the most varied product range in the adidas company and 1 single developer can be working on infant water shoes whilst working on a carbon bike shoe. As a Business Unit we want to be close to the sports we work on so regularly have contact with athletes and when products need to be tested, we head to the mountains which is our sporting arena. We take our responsibilities of sustainability, performance and quality very seriously so partner with the best suppliers such as Gore Tex and work closely with them almost daily. Because of this our consumers trust us to take our products into the mountains. YOUR TASKS: Assist the development team in daily business and administrative tasks e.g., calendar maintenance, data entry, preparation of presentations, building of material boards, maintenance of the fabric library, meeting/workshop facilitation and documentation etc. Support the product development team with specific parts of the product development process such as style creation, organization of fittings, comment creation, costing and sample management (including testing), benchmark studies Work closely with key partners such as factories, Liaison Offices, Marketing, Design, Innovation Support the development team on current projects, manufacturer confirmation sample and own individual projects as assigned e.g., handling of small ranges YOUR PROFILE: Student of Footwear Development, Manufacturing, Engineering or similar Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations) Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate).
