Internship in Medical Technology Testing (f/m/d) From March 2023 with a minimum of 3 months Reference Code DE-472023-76697 B. Braun New Ventures is a Corporate Start-Up of B. Braun based in Freiburg, Germany, founded in 2020. With a young and fast-growing team, we are set up to support B. Braun's digital transformation by developing solutions to automate medical procedures across all business areas. The goal is to augment caregivers' eyes, hands and decision making with sensors, robotics and artificial intelligence. This will enable sharing of clinical experience, open up new treatment possibilities and result in better patient care. In this scope we are offering an internship in Medical Technology Testing (f/m/d). Duties and responsibilities You will contribute to the product development of a surgical robotic system through system tests for hardware and software components Your will participate in the conception and design of tests within a cross-functional development team You will execute and document tests You will lead testing tasks of sub-projects You will participate in user labs with surgeons Professional competencies University study in medical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer sciences, physics, or similar fields First experience with electromechanical systems and application software, preferably in the medical domain First experience with relevant industry standards and technical guidelines Basic knowledge of medical devices You can compensate the listed qualifications through adequate alternative experiences as well Personal competencies Highly motivated and eager to learn new technologies quickly You are a hands-on doer and an interdisciplinary networker Having an innovation mindset with enthusiasm for high-tech products Good command of written and spoken English German would be a plus What we offer Become part of a corporate culture that fosters accountability, diversity, and trust within a dynamic family-owned company.
