JOIN OUR CREATIVE DIRECTION COLOR TEAM: The Creative Direction Color Team influences and inspires the Global Creative Direction for adidas with a focus fundamentally on Color. The teams expertise ranges across Color, Print and Pattern, Material and Finish for both apparel and footwear where our knowledge and expertise is showcased throughout our seasonal direction for the brand with the aim to inspire across adidas. Collaborating across adidas design teams we are able to implement our seasonal direction through creating concepts with inspiring vision to elevate product design excellence. The Color Team creates inspiring seasonal direction in collaboration with the Material and Graphics team and leads the strategy for the brands Color Direction as well as the creation of physical and digital color tools to support design. YOUR TASKS: Assist the horizontal Color Design Team in the design of new concepts for the relevant season Translate research and insights into color ideas and concepts Deliver a personal project aligned to the seasonal design work you will assisting with in your team Explore color application and expression through digital and physical sampling Work with the Color Design Team to create seasonal Color Palettes and Toolboxes Support the Color Team in the creation of presentations and exhibitions (digital and physical) Support in creating inspiring imagery and key looks Support organizing and engaging in Creative Workshops Support the Color Team in their delivery of seasonal content and toolboxes Engage with all functions in the Color Team (Apparel, Footwear, Print & Pattern, Innovation and Sustainability and Color Management) Support in day to day tasks Y OUR PROFILE: Student of Textile Design, Fashion Design, Industrial/Product Design, Footwear Design or similar Enrolled as fulltime student for the complete duration of the internship Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (Gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations) Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate) Fluent in English Strong skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, InDesign programs preferably on a Mac environment 3D Design skills are a plus Good skills to communicate concepts and ideas Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams and handle multiple tasksKEY FACTS: Application Deadline: March 15th, 2023 Start Date:September 15th, 2023 Duration: 6months Location: adidas Headquarters in Herzogenaurach (near Nuremberg) YOUR APPLICATION: At adidas we believe that “Impossible is Nothing”.
