Luxembourg Your career at Deutsche Börse Group Your area of work: Clearstream's working processes are subject to the rules of the respective supervisory authorities in every country where it operates. As a licensed credit institution, Clearstream Banking in Luxembourg (CBL) is supervised by the EBA, CSSF and BCL (Banque centrale du Luxembourg) and must comply with financial, legal, regulatory and statutory reporting banking requirements. The Supervisory Reporting & Daily Monitoring team handles the submission of reports as defined by the competent authority and monitor the key regulatory ratios on a daily basis. These are provided by regulatory standards, including regulatory and technical standards, circulars, and ongoing communications between team and the competent authority. As the intern, you will participate in the preparation of liquidity, solvency, and statistical reports for the various entities of Clearstream while monitoring our key regulatory ratios and performing analysis on changes in them. Your responsibilities: Produce results for our key regulatory ratios Perform analyses on changes to our key regulatory ratios and take the initiative to perform deep analyses on our quantitative results Preparing deliverables for ad-hoc requests from the Financial Accounting & Regulatory Reporting team Informing end data users of changes in the quantitative results Preparing presentations, documents, and materials for meetings with internal partners and external stakeholders Executing financial modelling using VBA and other technical, financial, and data requirements Ensure that data is accurately entered in the respective database Update data according to a set schedule or at a user's request Provide support and advice to users regarding database access and usage Support the team in the preparation of reports and documentation for the required regulator Your profile: You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme with a state-recognized institution focusing on Business Administration or Economics and can provide an internship agreement OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months Advanced excel skills Demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines while handling and prioritizing simultaneous requests Strong interest in finance and banking, including an understanding of the clearing, settlement, and custody business You have Banking and Finance qualification plus a good knowledge of contemporary information technology tools and applications You are a good team player with strong communication skills, and you have high-quality orientation and a can-do attitude with a proactive approach You are fluent in written and spoken English. You are familiar with European Union financial regulations (CRR, CSDR, MiFIR, SFTR, etc.) Interest in derivative and structured financial instruments Start Date: As soon as possible Duration: 4-6 months We look forward to receiving your CV and Cover Letter in English.
