The Job

Introduction The role As Head of Program Management and Sales Operation, Radar Solutions UK, you will have a key role in our effort to increase the footprint of Saab in the UK market - establishing and leading a newly created Program and Sales function at Saab Surveillance UK. In this role you will build, develop and lead an organization containing of several teams, with responsibility and competence on Marketing and Sales, Contract/Project Management and Product Management. The responsibility covers building Saab’s position within the UK market for the whole of the Saab radar portfolio. The role is overall responsible for establishment and maintenance of the customer relationships and you will lead and coach your team in creating, identifying, validating and pursuing business leads and opportunities. Together with relevant functions within Saab you will lead your teams to be, in relation to the radar portfolio, responsible for business development within the UK market – conducting end-user/capability requirements analysis, adapting the radar product and service portfolio and creating exceptional customer solutions. The role is also accountable for the execution and delivery of all Saab UK radar portfolio contracts securing good profitability, cash flow, delivery precision, quality and customer satisfaction. In this role you will report to Director Surveillance UK. Your profile: We are looking for a person with strong business understanding, excellent leadership skills and the ability to empower the organization. As a leader, you have the ability to organize and prioritize, delegate and lead with a holistic perspective. In this role you will be a key player in ensuring a collaborative environment with all relevant functions and management stakeholders within Saab in order to grow the radar portfolio business. As such you know the importance of building cross functional relationships, both internally and with customers and external partners. We also assume that you have: Strong customer focus and overall financial understanding Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions Proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging the organization, management teams and employees Ability and drive to build and grow an organization Structured and performance driven ways of working Proven ability to take decisions to improve profitability Negotiation experience Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
