As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. Your responsibilities as Equipment Engineer include: Understand Automated Test Equipment, test hardware and handling equipment Analyze the root cause of failures of the tester and / or the test cell Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of test equipment Keep current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues Study equipment performance and reliability Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the test process Provide technical support to the test equipment repair and test engineering organization Define and write preventative maintenance schedules Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechantronics Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits, their operation and analysis Very good verbal and written communications skills in German and English Preferred qualifications: Strong system & hardware debugging skills Experience with basic types of lab equipment Knowledge of measurements techniques and experience in interpreting the measurement results Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills Knowledge in general coding and programming skills / C and or C++ Use data analysis tools to investigate failure dependencies Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Our offer for you: Benefit from a competitive salary, yearly profit sharing (dependent on company success) and many additional benefits and an unlimited contract from the beginning Join an international work environment where your ideas count and where you can thrive in a diverse culture Explore a world of opportunities for your personal and professional development Texas Instruments is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse, inclusive work environment.
