We are looking for a motivated new member to join our team in Paris to contribute to our cybersecurity program, helping to bring security to our company and our customers! This position is great for an aspiring cyber security professional looking to work on business and IT critical projects and gain relevant work experience. The Security Team’s mission is to protect and govern. Protect by embedding security at the heart of Mantu innovation process and projects, and Govern by driving the adequate technical and organizational changes to secure our data and our customers data. As a Security Engineer Intern, your mission will be to: Support the Mantu Information System Security (ISS) department in the implementation of the Cybersecurity Program. Assignments may include: Manage a project from A to Z to study, test, select, deploy a Vulnerability Management solution, and then develop the procedures, and involve the IT team because this solution will eventually be proposed as an internal cyber security service. Assist the ISS team with special projects as assigned including, but not limited to, digital investigations, incident response efforts, vendor assessments, and IT employee user awareness. Assist in performing security audits and assessments, and performing risk analyses. Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover system and network vulnerabilities. Assist in responding to alerts for security issues. Observe and interact with software used to protect systems and information infrastructure. Stay current on security trends and news. Assist the Security team in developing company-wide security best practices. Design and document operating procedures for security processes. Ideal profile: Currently a student enrolled in a university and pursuing a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or Computer Science. A Previous accomplishments with projects in the IT or cybersecurity field is strongly preferred. A strong interest in Cyber Security functions with fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts and practices. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently and in in a small remote team, take initiative to follow-up on project deliverables, be flexible enough to work on any aspect of a project as needed and go above and beyond the task at hand. Relevant certifications such as COMPTIA Security+, Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate are a plus.
