The Role Do you like to program cloud native applications? Atlas Copco CT is a worldwide producer of compressed air solutions: compressors, dryers, gas generators, …. A lot of these machines are today connected such that we receive a continuous stream of data about their running parameters and conditions. Based on engineering knowledge and data analysis we are creating models to mimics the machines and determine which components need maintenance and when. To operationalize these models, we are investing in a cloud native architecture. We need your help to write the services to run in this environment. Do you like to collaborate with data scientists and engineers? At Atlas Copco engineers and data scientist work together to build mathematical and statistical models to simulate how machines work and components degrade. These “digital twins” help us to improve machine design and maintenance. After creation, these models need to be deployed on large scale with high reliability. Within the cloud native development team your focus will be on developing, deploying and maintain programs to execute predictive maintenance. Hard skills Software engineering experience in designing and developing software in C#, .Net Core & .Net Freamework, Azure, MVC, Asp.net Core/ WebAPI. Understanding and experience in designing, implementing and deploying cloud enabled solutions on Microsoft Azure platforms using Azure Technologies (App Services, Azure Function, Azure SQL, etc.) Experience with RESTful Web Services, Services Oriented architectures (SOA), Domain Driven Design (DDD) (HUGE Plus!) A good knowledge of English is a must The ideal candidate has a university degree in information technology (IT) Soft skills You are result oriented and quality focused, both in terms of deliveries and processes You work in an international environment and you will be communicating with our internal stakeholders You can work independently towards the achievement of your goals You are motivated in improving the way we do things Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills What you can expect from us?
