What you will be doing Umicore is enabling Enterprise Performance Management across the group. You will play a key role in helping business units and shared operating functions better understand their businesses and processes by developing E2E xP&A (extended planning & analysis) solutions that will maximize business insights and enforce faster decision making. As an EPM business analyst you will be part of the EPM Centre of Excellence in the corporate IS department. You will report hierarchically to the Center of Excellence lead. Your professional journey will focus on 2 main tracks. TRACK 1: You will be an EPM business analyst focusing on the corporate xP&A solutions in assisting the EPM lead to support the business units and shared functions to create value and increase efficiency by: • Working in close collaboration with business process owners and analyst, and ensure correct understanding and description of business requirements • Translate the EPM business requirements of our business units and shared functions into an E2E EPM solution • Being an active team member in various EPM projects, covering the full E2E delivery • Being responsible for the design and delivery of EPM solutions according to best practices • Enforcing policies around data quality, data security, data integration, master data management and solution building principles • Supporting business needs in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating a sense of urgency, tenacity, and commitment to quality and excellence • Providing training to business users on solution functionality and technical use of the EPM platform TRACK 2: You will be an Anaplan model builder in order to be able to assist in technical development of EPM solutions and provide technical expertise towards business units and shared functions. This will enable your role as the bridge between business and technology. As an Anaplan model builder you will be responsible for: • Capturing, translating and converting business requirements into clear Anaplan data models and data sets • Designing, building, managing and maintaining of the new and existing Anaplan solutions • Ensure consistency and integration across the different Anaplan models and the different business requirements formulated by the different business process owners • Modifying in an agile way the existing Anaplan models into new and improved models to support the business and the changing market, business and other external conditions • Acting as the Anaplan (master)data and data model specialist by providing data models based on the general understanding of the business, their requirements and their short term/long term vision Location will be Brussels. Occasional travel to other Umicore sites (national & international) will be required. Who we are looking for • You hold a master in finance, economy or information technology sciences. • You have some years of relevant work experience in the domain of Enterprise Performance Management, Business Intelligence or Analytics • You have a sincere and proven interest in the area of Enterprise Performance Management • You have knowledge and expertise in modern EPM and BI systems like Anaplan, Tagetik, Cognos, SAP BPC, etc. (having an Anaplan model builder certification is a plus but not a perquisite) • You have a mature, assertive and dynamic personality, with excellent interpersonal skills • You are a team player with strong communication skills and with a collaborative spirit • You are a fast learner • You are customer oriented, result driven & focused on delivering quality • You have strong analytical skills and are able to lead complex projects and related teams • Interest in and exposure to industrial activities, processes and technology • Good internal and external networking skills • Strong coordination and communication skills (ability to present processes and Anaplan solutions in a clear, structured and simple way) • You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
