You will be joining the BSR-LV product line which is located in Freising, Germany and is working in the fields of inductive DCDC converters. We focus on fully integrated buck converters in the low voltage area (<7V), supporting a broad range of applications requiring ultra-low load currents as well as up to even 100A. About the Job The BSR LV product line is seeking for a highly motivated Analog Design Engineer with up to two years of experience in the semiconductor world. As a member of an experienced design team you will be part of defining and developing innovative analog and mixed signal integrated circuits. You will take your designs from the concept phase through implementation in schematic and layout all the way to manufacturing in the TI internal wafer fabs - with access to best-in-class TI semiconductor process and package technologies. As an analog design engineer in our team you will gain or further enhance your in-depth knowledge of semiconductor circuit design from standard analog blocks like amplifiers, comparators and bandgaps to the different DCDC converter topologies. Example products we have built are TPS62870, TPS62840, TPS62A01, TPS62810 As an Analog Design Engineer, the key responsibilities are the following but not limited to: Transistor-level design of analog circuits, e.g. gm-stages, OpAmps, linear regulators, gate-drivers, control loop Verification of circuit blocks and top level of DCDC converters Provide high-level analysis of chip architecture trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and superior performance at a competitive cost Monitor and supervise IC layouts to ensure high-performance standards Partner with business teams and system engineering to develop mutually agreed design specifications Lead and participate in design reviews and create the necessary design and product documentation Block-level modelling to ensure the product meets the system level specifications Perform conceptual studies and architecture reviews for new analog circuits Implementation of design-for-test concepts of analog circuits in collaboration with test, validation, verification, and digital design engineers Minimum requirements: Bachelor or Master Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification Recently graduated and/or with up to 2 years of experience in a professional role Preferred qualifications: First transistor-level analog design experiences, ideally in the field of DCDC converters Basic understanding of BCD semiconductor technology, devices, and layout Experience in modelling of analog circuits Open personality with strong verbal and written communication skills Highly self-motivated team player with the ability to collaborate with international and cross-functional teams You have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Entrepreneurial instinct Strong English language skills, German is a plus Our offer for you: Benefit from a competitive salary, yearly profit sharing (dependent on company success) and many additional benefits and an unlimited contract from the beginning Join an international work environment where your ideas count and where you can thrive in a diverse culture Explore a world of opportunities for your personal and professional development See in this video how you can be part of Engineering Progress in our world Texas Instruments is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse, inclusive work environment.
