Generali Insurance Asset Management SGR is the Asset Management Company of Generali Group, leveraging the experience and know-how it has developed through managing the assets of the insurance companies of the Generali Group and pension funds, GIAM offers a track record of solid performance in Liability Driven Investment (LDI) solutions for insurance and pension funds portfolios, as well as a series of proprietary analysis tools developed to support LDI management. The Active Ownership team is in charge of providing, relating to Group clients, GCIO with analysis of proxy recommendations and ESG analysis supporting; Voting decisions as required; Reporting to GIMS/GHO on voting activities according to NFI Group process; Voting for assets held in GIAM funds or mandates managed on behalf of Third Party clients, as well as assets managed by other entities of A&WM Business Unit, where applicable according to specific Service Level Agreements and to Company policies. Provide input/proposal for improving Group Engagement Guidelines; Support implementing Group Engagement Guidelines in terms of planning, preparing/submitting yearly Engagement Campaign, execution, preparing engagement cases; Coordinating Task Force for meetings (also supporting documentation/minutes); Monitoring / reporting to: Engagement Committee; Development and implementation of an Engagement policy for assets held within GIAM funds or mandates managed on behalf of Third Party clients. The ideal candidate will work on the following activities: Support active ownership initiatives Contribute to the analysis of the firm's proxy voting record Support the administrative activities linked to the exercise of voting rights on behalf the clients Review and record companies' status/disclosures on ESG topics of interest (climate, diversity, board independence, etc.) Collect and write materials to support stock-specific engagement opportunities for PMs/funds Help to collect and populate ESG comments under the manager research framework Requirements: Master's Degree in one of the following disciplines: Economics, Finance, Statistics, Law Fluent in English (written and spoken).
