The Job
At Synopsys we develop the software tools that makes chip design by our customers possible. You will be joining the Silicon Innovation Group in Synopsys where our focus is on developing novel products from concept to production. In this role you will be joining a small team creating a high-profile new product which will have a major impact across our entire product portfolio. Your ability to propose and enhance ideas is critically important as well as the software architecture skills to execute on them. The product is in C++17, so the ability to develop in C++ is a firm requirement; the right candidate will ramp up on any other knowledge gaps with support from the team. Key Qualifications You will have a Masters or PhD in electronic engineering, computational physics, computer science, or similar and be comfortable with development on Linux. You will have profile which includes experience with most of the following: Skilled in real-world C++ development; Experience with Linux; Experience with Large scale development environments; Experience with complex algorithmic work; Willingness to learn about compilers & Electronic Design Automation. The following experience is also highly desirable: Synopsys tools such as PrimeTime / Fusion Compiler; Compiler or graph theory; Knowledge of C++17; Tcl; Knowledge of other languages; Undergraduate-level knowledge of digital electronics; Google Mock.
