We are looking for a Avionics System Designer (m/f). The position is open in the Communication & Sensing Systems Department, part of Airbus Commercial Engineering. Join the Communication & Sensing Systems department within Toulouse Design Office and work on all Airbus Platform : Single Aisle, Long Range, A380, A350, A400M by : Answering Programs objectives for both Aircraft developments and Aircraft deliveries Supporting Customer services teams Supporting Future Airbus Strategy, as a key contributor to move towards further Greener, Connected and Autonomous Aircraft. Your main tasks and responsibilities, as System Designer, will include: Contribute to specify systems for on-going development of major projects Contribute to support our systems operated in service Contribute to study what will be to future technological bricks to support future Systems architectures in the frame of new Aircraft development. Coordinate with various Interfaces: Airbus interfaces (programs, test teams, Certification & Safety representatives) and external Interfaces (Systems Suppliers, Regulatory Bodies, standardization committees...) Providing support to the Work Package Leaders for suppliers and subcontractor steering Drive introduction of new technologies (sensors or Artificial Intelligence) within the aeronautical industry and new methods based on Data Analysis and Model-Based System Engineering to improve efficiency of in-service support activities. On the top of your technical skills, you are a collaborative team player able to adapt to a changing and challenging environment. Some business travels are expected in this role. As such you must be able to travel accordingly (Europe or United States) at a frequency of maximum 3 travels per year (one week each). Your boarding pass: An aeronautical / systems / avionics engineering degree (or equivalent) and experience, ideally in one or more of the following areas: Communication systems, Radio Navigation systems, Surveillance systems, Probes Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GPS, new constellations i.e.GALILEO, ... ) Systems software / hardware specification and development Strong coordination skills Collaborative mindset Dynamism, adaptability, autonomy A willingness to learn and openness to change, new methodologies & technologies Negotiation level in English is required. Rejoignez le département Communication & Sensing Systems au sein du Bureau d'Etudes de Toulouse et travaillez sur toutes les Plateformes Airbus : Monocouloir (A320), Long Range (A380, A350) et A400M en : Répondant aux objectifs des programmes pour les développements d'avions et les livraisons d'avions Assistance aux services clients Soutenir la future stratégie d'Airbus, en tant que contributeur clé pour évoluer vers des avions plus verts, connectés et autonomes. Vos principales tâches et responsabilités, en tant que System Designer, comprendront : Contribuer à spécifier les systèmes pour le développement continu des grands projets Contribuer au support de nos systèmes exploités en service Contribuer à étudier ce que seront les futures briques technologiques pour supporter les futures architectures Systèmes dans le cadre du développement de nouveaux Avions. Assurer la coordination avec les différentes parties prenantes : Interfaces Airbus (Programmes, équipes de tests, représentants Certification & Sécurité) et Interfaces externes (fournisseurs systèmes, organismes de régulation, comités de normalisation...) Accompagner les Work Package Leaders pour le pilotage des Fournisseurs et Sous-traitants Favoriser l'introduction de nouvelles technologies (capteurs ou intelligence artificielle) au sein de l'industrie aéronautique et de nouvelles méthodes basées sur l'analyse de données et l'ingénierie système basée sur des modèles pour améliorer l'efficacité des activités de support en service. En plus de vos compétences techniques, vous êtes un équipier collaboratif capable de vous adapter à un environnement changeant et stimulant. Quelques déplacements sont à prévoir (Europe ou États-Unis) à une fréquence de maximum 3 voyages par an (une semaine). Votre carte d'embarquement : Un diplôme d'ingénieur aéronautique / systèmes / avionique (ou équivalent) et une expérience, idéalement dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : Systèmes de communication, systèmes de radionavigation, systèmes de surveillance, sondes Systèmes mondiaux de navigation par satellite (GPS, nouvelles constellations comme GALILEO, ...) Spécification et développement de logiciel/matériel système Solides capacités de coordination Esprit collaboratif Dynamisme, adaptabilité, autonomie Une volonté d'apprendre et une ouverture au changement, aux nouvelles méthodologies et technologies Un niveau de négociation en anglais est requis.
