Context and Business Reasons Summary: She/he protects the interests of the group monitoring the P2P and cost efficiency processes and results at agency, SSC and carriers' levels for the regional office(s) under his/her scope. She/he guarantees the performance and accuracy of the cost control tools, performs high level controls and missions on sites, create and initiate optimizations, and she/he is the interface between the region and head office departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supervise and pilot Cost Control organizations under the scope of the Regional Site to ensure the correctness of carrier's costs Define risk, priorities and objectives to SSC, Agency and Regional Offices Follow P2P KPIs and ensure objectives are reached Follow and improve cost control performance in SSC, Agency and Regional site by Proposing action plans on identified topics (Special event process, 2d level of control, non-core model process revisions, OTM/VCR rule improvements) Implement the SOP and Guidelines to group cost control departments under the scope of the Regional site. Be the entry point for all projects and ensure the implementation of new systems/tools in the organizations Develop and implement methods to improve group operating margin Ensure implementation of methods and studies in the regional sites Share best practice within Regional sites Follow the projects and initiatives until their achievement. Ensure the accuracy of the Operational Group tariffs database updated by the Regional Site Support Regional sites on cost efficiency mainly region advanced opex and budget Review methodology (template, drivers, etc.) and propose areas for improvement or corrective actions Follow data consistency, gap explanations and extra costs Follow cost efficiency plan to reach the target Participate to Benchmark elaboration, follow local revenue increases and application coverage Perform missions in the global network RO Cost Control, Agencies and GBS sites to identify and correct bad practices and support the missions when she/he is not going on site. Support Management and other HO department's queries Be a proactive interface between regional site and other HO departments and escalate any relevant issue (troubleshooting) Competency: To perform the job successfully, an employee should demonstrate the following competencies: Analytical skills: Ability to gather, analyze and diverse information skillfully. Personality: Patient, curious, rigorous, eager to learn, and to perform Personal Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Transportation, and/or Accounting degree. Shipping or logistic experience is a strong asset. Language Ability: Good knowledge of written and spoken English and French Computer Skills: Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programs like, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
