Your new job will take you into engineering for the central vehicle control of our state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly locomotives. As a software integrator (f/m/d), you will further develop locomotive control functions in collaboration with engineering colleagues (f/m/d). To this end, you will perform software integration, versioning and archiving of the software created, with the aim of providing functional software for vehicle control (TCMS). The activity takes place in close coordination with the project manager (f/m/d) for vehicle control. You will provide the software for testing in the lab and coordinate closely with the simulation and lab managers. In addition, you will continuously expand your system knowledge; to this end, we offer you various further training measures supplemented by on-the-job training. What do you bring along? You have completed a technical bachelor's degree (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics). Furthermore, you have gained first professional experience in the field of software development of PLC controllers. You bring knowledge in the tools Sibas G, SVN and Jenkins or comparable tools. You have proficient skills in English and your German language skills are B2 or better. In addition, you are willing to travel worldwide (approx. 10 %) for test support on the vehicle.
