Internship at Network Development Overseas Cars starting July 2023 Aufgaben The automotive industry is currently in the middle of a Transformation process. Within this changing and competitive environment, the Overseas Network Development department has an essential role for the region: our team in Stuttgart is responsible for the sales network transformation for Mercedes-Benz Cars in region Overseas, covering more than 150 countries in Aftica, Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia, South America, the Middle East and Central Eastern Europe. We are the interface to our Investors, Business Partners, Customers but also internal Stakeholders, such as Sales and Customer Services. The team is responsible for the brand experience, processes, digitalization and customer journey at our Dealerships, but also a key driver for the contractual and Compliance frameworks with our partners. Together with our colleagues from the markets, we define and frame the Network footprint of Mercedes-Benz, the strategy and the set up for a successful interaction with our customers. By working in our team, you will gain comprehensive insights into the exciting environment of the Network department. These challenges are coming your way: Close alignment with markets to support sales transformation towards future presence, sales formats, dealer network strategy implementation efforts, etc Support for retail network standards, process planning and creation of a customer-centric organization Coordinating and contributing to the implementation of the Global Dealer Standards Blueprint for Overseas Markets Participation in new projects within the framework of digitization initiatives of the sales network: Digital@Retail Participation in the Sustainability@Retail initiative for the Overseas region Coordination with markets and general distributors to manage contracts and due diligence for general distributors Administration of central contract management systems, integrity management tools for business partners Participation in the creation of decision templates and presentations Qualifikationen Studies in business informatics, business administration or comparable studies in business administration, law and compliance etc.. Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and German Confident handling of MS Office - especially Excel and PowerPoint Confident demeanor, communication skills, organizational talent, ability to work in a team, commitment Analytical way of thinking and strategic way of working Additional information: It doesn't work completely without formalities.
