Your new role - challenging and future-oriented Your new job will take you into the engineering of our state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly locomotives. In our Corporate Infrastructure group, we develop tools and simulations and provide the laboratory infrastructure for the various software trades. In addition, our software configuration managers (f/m/d), test managers (f/m/d) and testers (f/m/d) ensure efficient project processing. As a test manager (f/m/d) in the area of vehicle control software, you review test specifications and ensure that the specified software requirements are covered by the tests. In coordination with the software project managers (f/m/d) and testers (f/m/d) in Germany and abroad, you define how the tests are to be carried out. You plan the requirements of the lab test benches and the vehicles and coordinate them with the Technical Managers. You plan all test activities in the lab environment and on the vehicle and regularly obtain the status of the test activities. You also perform tests yourself using test automation tools and document the results and relevant observations in test reports. Your qualifications - solid and appropriate The basis of your success is a completed bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics). In addition, you convince with first experience in the automation or test area. You have knowledge of the EN50657 standard and know the test process according to the ISTQB standard. Ideally, you have experience in working with SIBAS G as well as in PLC programming. You are willing to do occasional business trips (approx. 10%) at home and abroad to participate in our vehicle tests. You have a very good command of the English language and your German language skills are on level B2 or better in order to communicate confidently both within Germany but also with colleagues (f/m/d) abroad.
