Laboratory technician (f/m/d) for Experimental Unit NTA & NTP in Frankfurt You will work as part of a laboratory team that performs laboratory, greenhouse and semi-field studies to assess the effects of plant protection products on non-target arthropods and non-target plants. The generated data are required for the evaluation of the environmental safety profile of these products and their registration. All regulatory studies will be conducted under GLP (Good Laboratory Practice). YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Growing and caring for the plants needed for the studies in the greenhouse Preparing the planting pots for the studies (e.g. filling with soil) Responsibility for ordering the required seeds or the plant material Assist in preparing, conducting and assessing studies in the greenhouse and semi-field with cultivated and wild plants Support the preparation, implementation and assessment of laboratory and semi-field studies with "beneficial" insects (e.g. ladybird beetles, green lacewings, no bees!) as well as the breeding of the food insects WHO YOU ARE Successfully completed professional training as a biology laboratory technician, gardener, agricultural technical assistant or a comparable qualification Experience with plant cultivation and plant maintenance High ability to work in a team, flexibility and willingness to learn Independent and conscientious way of working High degree of reliability and sense of responsibility Willingness to do regular weekend work Good written and spoken German and English Be you.
