Then come and join our global team as a PhD (f/m/d) for Advanced Clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging to come and strengthen our EMEA (Europa Middle East and Africa) Scientific Partnerships organization to coordinate and drive collaborative research activities between Siemens Healthineers and our Partner Institutions in the field of Advanced Clinical MR. Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Your tasks and responsibilities: In this role you will be embedded in our international and interdisciplinary EMEA Scientific Partnerships (SP) network and will be in close contact with collaboration and innovation teams of our Business Lines in the headquarter Your main tasks will be in the field of MRI sequence development for advanced clinical applications (e.g. body arterial spin labeling, advanced neuro imaging, Glymphatic flow/brain waste disposal, X-nuclei imaging) Based on-site in Kiel you serve as an interface between on-site clinical researchers and development at Siemens Healthineers You will work in collaboration with medical professionals, scientists and engineers at our partner site in Kiel and in the Research and Development departments at Siemens Healthineers You will ensure the successful planning, execution and completion of joint research projects in collaboration with our research partners You will support the clinical experts in research activities and support clinical documentation and generation of scientific publications You will drive the validation of technical concepts for future product integration, and continuous collection of feedback for prototypes and coordinate communication amongst the participating departments As part of our global collaboration team, you will maintain regular contact and actively contribute to our EMEA expert community and contribute to the predevelopment roadmaps of the R&D teams in Erlangen At our clinical partner in Kiel you will join an enthusiastic, international, 30+ members biomedical imaging group with a focus on MRI methods development, with access to the latest equipment from Siemens (e.g. 3T MAGNETOM Cima.X, MAGNETOM Vida, 1.5 T MAGNETOM Sola) To find out more about the specific business, have a look at https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/services/value-partnerships Your qualifications and experience: You own a master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science or a comparable discipline (Master, Diploma, etc.) You have excellent knowledge, practical experience and abilities in the fields of magnetic resonance You have Experience in programming (Matlab, C, C++, Python), modelling and analyzing data would be an advantage You possess a high degree of conscientiousness, reliability, and diligence You have the readiness for planning, structure and attention to detail a good spoken and written English Ideally you have experiences with MR sequence developments Your attributes and skills: You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (spoken and written), German is considered a plus You have excellent organizational skills with a high degree of autonomy, process orientation, and attention to detail, while creative at finding solutions through interpersonal communication You are passionate about healthcare innovations You are willing to travel to (work on-site at) our partnering hospital in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein 100% of your time Our global team: Siemens Healthineers is a leading global medical technology company. 68,000 dedicated colleagues in over 70 countries are driven to shape the future of healthcare.
