In the Online Service team we offer worldwide customer support for Springer Nature online products (eBook packages, journals, platforms). The Online Service team is part of the wider Customer Service department in Operations. Tasks: Handle queries relating to online access to Springer Nature content for institutional and corporate customers Dealing with customer inquiries and solving access problems Working with the first level team at Straive, handling queries escalated by them and quality checking their work Use of the Freshdesk ticketing tool to respond to queries Participation in customer service project tasks as required Attending department and other meetings to keep up to date with system and process changes Requirements: Completed commercial training and several years of professional experience in customer service, preferably in the book trade or publishing world Advanced knowledge of German (min. C1) and very good knowledge of English, good language skills in another foreign language would be an advantage Very good PC skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook) and knowledge of SAP Good communication skills, flexibility and resilience Experience in the support of online portals, affinity to online processes Good time management and ability to work in a team #LI-SS1 At Springer Nature, we value the diversity of our teams and work to build an inclusive culture, where people are treated fairly and can bring their differences to work and thrive.
