Then come and join our global team as Junior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Digital Image Chain / Medical Imaging to develop software for our digital image chain that creates sustainable solutions for customer requirements. Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Your tasks and responsibilities: You will work in an international team (12 team members) and implement software for our digital image infrastructure; this software will help physicians and clinicians to make decisions during treatment You support developing sustainable solution concepts based on given customer requirements You will participate in refactoring, improving, and expanding the software architecture and design; the aim is to set up the software consistently to support continuous integration and deployment, e.g., based on regression tests You support the concepts, specification, and implementation of modular software components You will assess the technical feasibility and development efforts, e.g., based on prototyping alternatives You will actively take part in our agile team as software expert and will prepare and present sustainable solutions in system context, from software design, architecture, and implementation, for example in quarterly agile reviews You will consistently work on refactoring existing software and tests based on your years of development experience You will interact in your role as developer within our international teams (e.g., China, India) To find out more about the specific business, have a look at https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/products-services Your qualifications and experience: You have successfully completed a master's degree in computer science, information technology or electrical engineering You have initial professional experience in the field of software development You also have basic experience in performance-optimized programming in C++ You have basic knowledge of Windows systems (kernel, drivers, memory and process management, etc.).
