The Job

Working Student Graphic Design (m/f/d) Agriculture is all about balance. The balance that is crucial to everyone's existence - also applies to our Agricultural Solutions division. RESPONSIBILITIES We offer digital solutions for a sustainable agriculture by optimizing crop production and support farmers worldwide through monitoring of soil and crop conditions, assisting with disease and pest recognition, and recommend tailored treatments based on in-field conditions. Be part of our team for six months to shape the future of agriculture with us! oIn your role as working student you develop concepts, graphics and layouts among others for visuals, animations for online advertisement, videos, website, presentations, social media. o Adaptation of advertisement assets for different markets as well as supporting in updating of visual materials when needed are part of your responsibility. o Furthermore, you develop and design content for xarvio's important social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube. o This includes determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and texts as well as font style and size. o Last but not least, you prepare draft materials based on an agreed briefing, review final layouts and suggest improvements - if required. Qualifications o student majoring in graphic design, media design, communication design or something similar o strong IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva as well as animation software such as Adobe Spark or Adobe Animate o competent handling of MS-Office applications and other presentation tools such as Emaze and Prezi o creativity, innovation, accuracy and attention to detail along with excellent time management and organisational skills o profound understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment as well as a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines o convincing communication skills in English BENEFITS o From day one you will be part of the BASF family. o You will get involved in challenging fields of activity and have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in an interdisciplinary environment. o Depending on the location of the respective group company you will get to know BASF and participate in various workshops and guided tours. o In this way you will make numerous interesting experiences and get a deep insight into the world´s leading chemical company.
