As Post Doc you will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers. This position is located in Biberach and is limited for 2 years with the option to extend to 3 years. Note: To make it easy to find our job postings we use the customary title "post doc". Discover our Biberach site: xplorebiberach.com Tasks & responsibilities In your new role you will perform signal transduction research with a focus on the unfolded protein response and validate putative receptor-ligand interactions, enabling a deeper functional understanding of a novel therapeutic approach. In this project, you will closely interact with project leaders from the department of Research Beyond Borders and with scientists from different areas within BI's research organization, as well as leading academic groups worldwide. Furthermore, you will contribute actively to a strong scientific culture and present your experimental results in internal and external meetings and conferences and publish your data in peer reviewed journals. In addition, you will be part of the BI global postdoctoral community through which you will be able to expand your network and be offered exciting professional development opportunities. Requirements PhD degree in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or related discipline Experience in the Unfolded Protein Response ("ER stress") is a strong plus Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international team of scientists with excellent written and oral communication skills Profound knowledge of molecular and cell biology techniques with hands-on experience Team player with the ability to plan and implement experiments Fluent language skills in English are mandatory, German language skills are a plus Recruitment process: Step 1: Online application - application deadline is 18.05.2023.
