Blackstone’s Private Wealth Solutions (PWS) Campus program is a unique experience among financial firms, enabling Summer Analyst to gain exposure to all aspects of the asset management business. The summer analyst role is focused on supporting several areas of PWS in capacities ranging from marketing and sales to product strategy and business development. The role will be working closely with PWS members globally and will have interface with various internal stakeholders including investment teams, legal/compliance department and other groups within the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to gain experience at one of the world class Alternative Investment firms, would like to participate in one of the fastest growing businesses at Blackstone. In addition to gaining substantial product knowledge and supporting the growth of PWS in the region, the role will also develop familiarity across other important aspects including marketing, strategic planning, legal documentations, product operations and more. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: Contribute to make Japanese retail investors access to best-in-class alternative solutions Get involved in supporting a full cycle of fundraising efforts which include production of product related marketing collaterals, quality control of translation of product/macro related deliverables, new product development, client service for major Japanese financial institutions Obtaining competitive landscapes across strategy types and product structures Collaborating across teams to gain an in-depth understanding of PWS business and wide range of alternative strategies Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Our PWS Japan business is newly created business unit in Japan therefore entrepreneurship is preferred. To be considered for the 2024 Summer Analyst Program, applicants must meet the following criteria: Currently enrolled as a fulltime undergraduate / Master (Non-MBA) at the university Anticipated graduation date: September 2024 - June 2025 Fluent or bilingual in Japanese and English (both written and spoken) Prior internship experience within the financial services industry is preferred (asset management, wealth management or alternatives experience preferred) Prior work experience in Japan and desire to work in Japan preferred Resume must include graduation month/year and GPA of undergraduate and postgraduate degree(s) if applicable Resume must be in PDF format Application deadline: 15 October 2023 We are interviewing on rolling basis so please submit your application at your earliest convenience.
