Several positions of Autopilot system Testing Engineer (m/f) have just opened within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join a team within the Flight and Integration Tests center, in charge of Autopilot / Flight Control integration testing on several Airbus Programmes (including R&T). The majority of our testing activities is performed on laboratory test benches and aircraft integration simulators. The jobholder will also contribute in shaping the future of testing through more innovative ways of working, more digitalisation with the objective of increasing the maturity of our products, focusing on high added value activities while keeping safety first. Collaboration with our main stakeholders in the Design Office, Programmes and Flight Tests fosters a rich and dynamic environment in which to develop. Your main challenges : • Learning the airline operational procedures in order to build fully representative test scenarii • Testing the system beyond standard procedures in order to demonstrate the robustness and the safety of the system in any conditions • Being trained on new digital solutions and advanced data analytics methods (Automatic testing,machine learning, artificial intelligence) since the team is leading some key projects in this field in order to prepare the next Airbus challenges on autonomous vehicles. This role will involve some very rare travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Your boarding pass: • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline. • A good knowledge of airline operating procedures and environment is a real added value • Advanced data analytics method (machine learning, artificial intelligence) is also a key asset • Good communication skills and a pro-active, approach to drive innovation • Ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multi disciplined team • Advanced level of English and French. You have a first experience in: - Flight physics or System logics or Tests activities (benches, tools, ...) - Any relevant experience that can match with this job description You don't match 100%?
