As a Program / Product Manager Intern, you will be conducting data analyses and deep dives to generate insights into system behavior, identifying performance gaps and improvement potentials. Support the Program Management team in the definition, conceptualization, implementation and growth of strategic programs and products. Run dedicated workstreams independently and collaborate with Amazon internal stakeholders across EU. You will optimize visibility across our website and activate marketing channels to increase customer conversion and retention. Key job responsibilities • Owning customer relationships by understanding industry themes, customer priorities. • Supporting strategic projects aiming at digitizing the procurement landscape. • Working closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders. • Diving deep into large data sets, e.g. to analyze trends, identify new customer insights or learn about the root cause of an issue and turn these insights into action. • Running specific projects adjusted for the internship duration and your qualifications. Drive a workstream in various business areas relevant for our customers. About the team Amazon retail teams work to help improve the selection and shopping experience for customers across our product categories, from books to fashion, electronics to grocery, movies and music to toys and health & beauty, and everything in between. As a retail intern in one of those categories, you will learn how Amazon handles its e-commerce retail business. Working alongside a vendor manager to help provide a suite of services designed to support Amazon's most strategic brands within one of our retail categories. Your priority will be to work backwards from the customer, identifying inputs to grow brands and improve their performance. Visit our EMEA Student Programs Team Events page to register for one of our upcoming events: https://amazonstudentevents.splashthat.com/careers BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Currently enrolled as a student receiving a Bachelor's or Master's Degree for the complete duration of the employment as an intern • Fluent written and verbal communication in German (Level - C1 or higher) and English (Level - C1 or higher) • Graduation date is no earlier than in January 2024 or after the end of internship contract (whichever is later) • Available for internship starting this year and for the length of 3 to 6 months. • Availability to work 40h/week PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Studies within Engineering, Commerce, Business administration or similar field • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team • Results-driven focus with analytical capability, along with high affinity towards data and technology • Ability to dive deep, analyze, innovate and simplify current processes and practices • Excellent communications and presentation skills, as well as strong direct sales skills and a proven track record of performance working with clients Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
