Job Description In this position, you will support our goal of developing a new class of miniature sensors with unprecedented resolution and accuracy using quantum technologies. Starting from model-based sensor design, we provide proof of concepts with laboratory demonstrators and continue with the design and prototyping of miniature sensor modules that are scalable for large-scale production. Therefore, you join a team of scientists and engineers pushing forward the industrialization of highly sensitive quantum sensors. Furthermore, you will develop, design and implement new microtechnology packaging concepts for quantum sensors. This will require the precise placement and mounting of optical, electrical and mechanical components. Also, you will ensure the manufacturability and miniaturization of our systems and identify new cooperation partners Qualifications Education: Completed university studies (Bachelor/Master's/Diploma) in microsystems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or a comparable course of study Personality and Working Practice: self-motivated, result-orientated, open-minded, team player Experience and Knowledge: practical know-how in packaging technologies, micro technologies, micro integration, fabrication processes and sensor design; Expertise in thermal management, electromagnetic shielding, optics, and quantum sensors is beneficial Enthusiasm: strong interest in both research and application Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English Additional Information Apply now in just 3 minutes!
