Job Description Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting-edge of MEMS based inertial measurement units (IMUs) for consumer applications? At Bosch Sensortec, we push the boundaries of innovation for inertial sensors used across the globe. As a PreMaster student, you will contribute to the development of high-performance IMUs and play an integral role in future products. You design a virtual sensor, using state of the art modelling techniques (e.g. SystemC, Simulink, ...) You follow your model through all development steps: starting from concept and architecture, going through implementation and finally verify it in simulation You create new concepts for automation of the development process in the field of modeling and simulation Proof of concept: You implement concepts in current development projects and compare results with real hardware You present outcomes and key findings within the expert team and other engineering departments Qualifications Personality: We are looking for a curious and proactive candidate, who thrives in a collaborative environment and likes to take initiative. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn and demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills Way of working: The ideal candidate likes to work in a structured way, breaking bigger tasks into smaller ones and tackling one at a time. You should be comfortable interacting with other team members, as well as working independently Experiences & Know-How: Strong analytical skills and a robust technical background in fields related to digital circuit modeling (e.g. SystemC), such as electronics, software or mechatronics. Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new tools are greatly appreciated. Prior experience (e.g., personal projects) with embedded programming, scripting and modelling/simulation (Matlab/Simulink, C, C++, ...) is highly valued Language: English (German is a plus) Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (ideally embedded systems), computer science, physics, or other related scientific field Additional Information The Bosch PreMaster Program (Gap Year Program) is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase provides up to 12 months' practical experience for familiarization with technical and business interrelationships.
