Job Description Join the cutting-edge world of MEMS-based inertial measurement units (IMUs) for consumer applications at Bosch Sensortec. We are seeking a curious and proactive pre-master student to contribute to the development of high-performance IMUs. As a pre-master student, you will work on the following tasks: You develop and automate a multi-stimuli measurement setup for investigating the sensitivity of IMUs to bending stress and temperature changes You verify the performance of the setup experimentally You analyze sensor measurement data to evaluate and compare sensor concepts You compare experimental results with simulation outcomes, and potentially optimize simulation methodologies You document and standardize testing procedures, requirements, and workflows You present experiment outcomes and key findings effectively to relevant stakeholders Qualifications Personality: We are seeking a proactive and curious candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills Way of working: The ideal candidate should be able to work in a structured way, breaking bigger tasks into smaller ones and tackling one at a time; They should be comfortable working both independently and in a team Experiences & Know-How: Strong analytical skills and a robust technical background in fields related to MEMS and measurement and control technology, such as electronics, software (Python, C++), mechatronics, or mechanics; Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new tools are greatly appreciated; Prior experience with sensors, communication protocols, embedded programming or scripting is highly valued Language: Proficient in English; German language skills are a plus, but not mandatory Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or other related scientific fields Additional Information The Bosch PreMaster Program is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase provides up to 12 months' practical experience for familiarization with technical and business interrelationships.
