Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Senior Buyer (f/m) to join our Cockpit Furnishing & Floor Panels Procurement team based in Toulouse, France. The Cockpit is a powerful marker of an aircraft company identity and a real differentiating factor. This explains the high level of customization of the items, using multi technologies and complex assembly processes. Our team is in charge of the supply of the Cockpit Furnishing & Floor Panels items to the different Airbus plants for all aircrafts families (A320, A350, A330, A220, A400M...). The team's mission is to source and manage contracts from Suppliers based all over the world. Our challenge for the future is to prepare the next generation of products, with a competitive, digitally enabled, safe and decarbonised product. We will have to adapt to new technologies, new products, new distribution channels, new regulations... Your challenges: Be the entry point to company for commodity management and Suppliers Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy Perform market analysis (global sourcing including offsets) Manage sourcing (Call For Tender, Request For Proposal, etc...) and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders Contribute in monitoring & improving supplier performance Identify & lead value creation project and support product /service innovation Sustain long term relationships with suppliers Ensure risk management Be the focal point for all current and coming Airbus improvement projects (digitalization, sustainability...) Position will involve some travel Your boarding pass: Master degree in Engineering or Business school 3 years of experience in business, contract and project management or sales Contracts and supplier relationship knowledge The successful applicant will have to be a great team player and project leader, dealing appropriately with different stakeholders Strong communication skills, autonomous, accountable & business/ result oriented Creative, proactive in challenging status quo Rigorous way of working while being able to propose new ways of working Agility with IT solutions (SAP, Excel, ...).
