You will join the Single Aisle Airframe Engineering MAP department. We are a dynamic team of skilled engineers supporting the Final Assembly Line, Flight Test and Delivery Center by providing troubleshooting and design solutions for the two FAL A320 and A321 in TOULOUSE. As part of our team, you will be able to develop cross-skill knowledge being the direct interface between the Aircraft Design with all its aspects and then the realm of Design and the industrial environment of the prestigious A320 Family Final Assembly Line and interact with different stakeholders: Manufacturing, Design Office, Chief Engineering, Technical Authorities, etc. Your challenges: • Delivering technical solutions to support the Manufacturing, delivery of aircraft and flight test and providing technical responses to QLBs, ALBs, Concessions and non-conformities • Signing off technical documents and Concessions for Structures Design • Ensuring safe operation of the product with respect to structural integrity and operational efficiency • Liaising with and support stakeholders such as Final Assembly Line, Delivery Center, Flight Test Centre, Design Office, Chief Engineers, Airworthiness Specialists and other MAP offices • Work flexibly includes on call duty in rotation with colleagues • Propose and initiate design improvements and associated design changes • Manage and support end to end execution of targeted design changes up to serial introduction under consideration of time, cost and quality • Strong international collaboration with teams in Toulouse, Hamburg, USA und China and representing the team and the Design Office in front of Airlines and internal customers Your boarding pass: You already have several years of experience in an engineering operational environment or a working knowledge of the concessions process within an aerospace environment You have experience as design specialist and also some knowledge's in stress analysis, a solid knowledge of Airframe Structure (Stress, Design) and have a good knowledge of airframe design principles and ideally also repair solutions. You may have a technical signature delegation already or are willing to grow your skill-set to obtain it in the short term. Knowledge of the Product lifecycle management (PLM) tool sets (e.g. Taksy, DPDS, Gilda) & SAP would be advantageous You are interested in growing in the field of technical Project Management.
