One third of the food that is produced worldwide each year lands in the bin and not on someone’s plate! We think that is unacceptablee (and also pretty crazy)! In order to tackle this problem right in front of our own door, we founded Foodsharing Delft. A growing community that aims to reduce food waste in Delft by picking up otherwise wasted food from the market and shops and distributing it for free. We also work on bringing people together and educating them about our global food waste problem with the help of our no-waste dinners and other events. Interested in some free food?
